Student Activities
Develops a programme for the educational community that promotes HVAC&R careers, and runs student activities at every level of the education system.
What the committee does
Responsibilities include:
- Encouraging the formation and continuing operation of ASHRAE student branches.
- Helping graduating student members continue their membership through the SmartStart program.
- Acting as liaison between the chapter and area universities and institutes.
- Developing awards, scholarships and other student incentives.
- Providing speakers to university and school groups.
