Membership Promotion

Publicises the aims, activities and achievements of the Society to encourage qualified people to join, and makes sure people from every background are equally welcomed.

What the committee does

Responsibilities include:

  • Attracting new members who will be active in the Society, locally and at Society level.
  • Encouraging membership from all segments of the industry.
  • Working with the Student Activities and Young Engineers in ASHRAE committees so students keep their membership when they graduate.
  • Organising membership drives, including participation from local consulting firms.
  • Reducing the number of member resignations and lapses.
